211 is an Information and referral line based on the individual's needs. The staff at 211 will generate a list of referrals based on the needs.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) investigates abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable individuals 60 and older and people with disabilities between 18 and 59. Either way, they are unable to protect their own interests or adequately perform or obtain services necessary to meet their essential human needs.

Harbor House is a 24-hour emergency shelter for victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. The Crisis Center of Taney County, Inc.'s mission is to provide quality residential and non-residential services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. 

 

Services offered: 

The Crisis Center of Taney County is a 24-hour crisis hotline; 24-hour shelter access; transitional housing; crisis intervention; case management; support groups; court advocacy; personal advocacy; information and referrals; victim education; peer counseling; community education; transportation, including cab and bus fare; emergency financial assistance; prescription assistance; food, clothing and personal hygiene supplies. Group meetings are available for anyone in need on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00.  Childcare is provided during the group meetings.
